Strengthening Ghana’s Digital Backbone – One Conversation at a Time.

Last week, our leadership team at Broadspectrum Group Limited paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Director General of the National Communications Authority ( NCA), Rev. Ing. Edmund Yirenkyi Fianko, at the NCA Tower in Accra.

Led by our CFO, Samuel Osew-Kwatia CA, LLB, MBA, BCom, PD , we took the opportunity to officially welcome him into his new role and introduce the Broadspectrum brand—highlighting our footprint in national infrastructure and the work our subsidiaries are doing to improve connectivity across Ghana.

A key point of conversation was the ongoing issue of fibre optic cable cuts, which continue to disrupt network stability and service delivery. We engaged the NCA on the need for stronger regulatory backing and collaborative efforts to protect this critical infrastructure. We were encouraged by Rev. Ing. Fianko’s response and his enthusiasm to support local companies playing a pivotal role in Ghana’s digital transformation.
